Shopping list for some foods you should have at home

* Pay attention to "natural" nut butter without added sugar and avoid those with hardened or partially hardened oils. Peanuts have a higher carbohydrate content than some other nut varieties. Therefore, be careful with the portion size.

oils / cooking fats, salad dressings and mayonnaise

Opt for dressings and mayonnaise made from oils with a higher content of saturated and monounsaturated fatty acids such as rapeseed, olive or avocado oil. Avoid those made with soybeans, vegetables, corn, or other oils that are high in polyunsaturated fatty acids. Also, be sure to choose salad dressings with 2 grams or less of carbs per serving.
